Locked out

A mostly good day today, weather-wise. Walked down to Atlantis Leisure this morning for the Strength & Balance Class. Worse than last week! I hope it will gradually get easier!

Had a meeting at Dunollie Estate this afternoon, to chat about projects relating to the garden. We took a couple of garden benches out into the sun, but after a short while it began to rain - just tiny spots on the pavement, but we had to move inside. It only lasted a few minutes but we stayed in.

My role as a volunteer is largely to get up to date with the plant spreadsheet and to finalise the list for engraved labels. There are other things I'd like to see done in the garden, such as removing a few chopped and ugly trees, but there's no money for that at present unfortunately.

We had a look round the garden to chat about some sycamore saplings which need to be dealt with and walked up to the castle. I had to Blip the view through the gate as the place is closed to the public for the winter!

Came home in glorious sunshine - why on earth do we need three minutes of light rain to spoil an otherwise perfect sunny day?
