Calm November

A cold morning, with freezing fog in places.  A beautiful calm and sunny day.  Calm, clear and cold again tonight.

Another early shift in the airport.  I was meeting and boarding flights this morning, and an afternoon on the check-in desk.  All flights in and out on time, quiet too.  Walkies with Sammy after work.  Working in the shop this evening, a steady evening.  More walkies, then feet up. 

It's been another stunning day, I even got away with my short sleeved shirt for a beach walk at lunchtime.  I'm there used to be an old saying that November was always the calmest month of the year, it hasn't been for the past few years, but defo so far this year.  Another old saying about the clouds, when you see the anvil clouds, it's a sign of bad weather to come.  Fingers are crossed for more like this.  Taken at 1532, Sand of Hayes, Sumburgh.
