Flying High

An unexpected high of 65°F with blue sky, but windy. Hundreds of gulls flying in high over the lake catching the last rays as the sun set. Hard to find a clear patch of sky to shoot them, but I think the out of focus branches add to the image which would be rather empty otherwise.

I normally associate the arrival of gulls with the lake icing over, but not this year. The forecast is clear ten days out.
