Shell Like

An overcast day, with no prospect of light, which only got worse by the time I went out. I cranked the iso, but even so my shutter speeds were abysmal. Forced to look closer to the ground, where the wind did not blow so much, I found the vegetation remained relatively still. The texture and shape of these decaying hosta leaves interested me and I liked the variations in colour as well. There's always something, if only you're prepared to entertain the idea.
