Another Fall Tree

It stopped raining just in time to play 9 holes of golf this morning. Although the formal ladies golf group is done for the season, we continue Tuesday play as long as the weather is reasonably pleasant. As long as we kept the balls in the fairway it all worked well. The rough (on the sides of the fairways) is pretty long these days, and covered with leaves....your ball is doomed if it goes there!  We had a fun time....and the leaves that dropped off of the trees yesterday created beautiful carpets. And there's still plenty of leaves left on the trees. I don't remember seeing such beautiful fall color before, but maybe I say that every year! This is a large tree on the 8th ladies tee box.
