A Gorgeous Day

Thanks all so very much for your kind words on yesterday's blip. I'm feeling much more optimistic today - having ignored most of the aftermath :-)

I puttered around my house and garden today - tidying up things in anticipation of the rain that starts tomorrow evening. It looks like the rain is settling in for the foreseeable future. I know that it sounds like all it does is rain here in the winter, but that's not entirely true. It's just that these gorgeous fall days when we can succumb to the clear blue skies and stunning leaf displays are so precious!

I went over to my old garden today to dig up some ferns for my new shady garden on the north side of my condo. The final frontier, as it were! The garden is not mine anymore, so I'll refrain from commenting. Let's just say that I'm happy to have dug up a bunch of baby Sword Ferns (quintessential Pacific NW evergreen fern) and a couple of hardy cyclamen. I think if I wanted to dig up the whole garden my ex would be happy, but I have no place to plant anything more.

So I came home and planted the ferns. I'm also helping my son with a business plan for his idea of a company that helps small business with artificial intelligent tools. He's searched for a job for a full year now with no luck at all. So fingers crossed that he can make this work.

Here's hardy Geranium 'Rozanne' still blooming like crazy in my old garden!
