Dripping
Frieda's overnight stay with us worked out fine. Richard went off to catch an early train to London, on Folklore Society business. I took Frieda to preschool, and then had a quiet few hours at home, including a quick wander in the garden between showers.
Later I picked Frieda up and we had a chilled-out couple of hours together before Marianna, Jack and Simone got home. Their work trip had all gone well.
Frieda's still in that phase of giving Simone over-enthusiastic 'hugs', that verge on something a little more muscular. Simone's already learned to have a go at fending these off. We're all doing our best to help Frieda to get through this normal adjustment to the shift in her emotional axis.
