Calm. Or numb?

The US election result continues to sink in.
Val and I went for a damp morning walk in the Botanical Gardens. Her step-daughter lives in Kentucky and has become a Trump supporter. She's an academic scientist; neither of us can understand how she reconciles her differing worlds.
After that I did a stewarding shift at the photo exhibition. I'm posting this while waiting to pick Frieda up for her after-school dance class.
