Lovely leaves and sky

Walking from the ugly industrial area where Fareshare is based, through the somewhat rundown social housing area, to the unattractive shopping centre. But if you look up - there is beauty.
A good morning at Fareshare, in that my tasks went very smoothly, the printer worked beautifully, and the music I chose - Bill Withers, followed by Isaac Hayes - was enjoyed by the warehouse workers. But what made it really good was that we had a lot of quality food to send out - fresh fruit and veg, meat, cheese, pasta, tins of tomatoes.  Real food.  A few weeks ago all we had was coffee and crisps:-(
It clearly shows how precarious life is if you are one of the hundreds of thousands/ millions(?) living in poverty. Lack of choice, lack of food security, if the biggest food charity can’t supply good nutrition every week.
