Words worth reading

We went to Dove Cottage in Grasmere today, the home for many years of William Wordsworth, his sister Dorothy and eventually his wife Mary and children. Fascinating little cottage and a very good museum. It poured with rain and was really chilly so we didn’t go and look at the grounds and gardens.
This little bookcase actually belonged to and was used by Wordsworth..
The cafe did a good bowl of hearty lentil and veg soup. After that we walked the short distance into Grasmere, and had a quick look inside the Church,  but it was so wet and cold we soon went back to the car and then back to Keswick.
Thawed out and dried out now. A little blipmeet later.
