Sparkles

A little bit of sparkle in our day was the arrival of an advent calendar, ordered by Andy and inspired by our holiday in France where we sampled some rather delicious teas. We’re looking forward to enjoying the contents and perhaps they will bring with them some memories of our holiday.

Thankfully it has been less wet today. We’ve even had some sunshine. I ventured out before work and found a swan wandering along the street outside the village school. It had gone later in the day so I assume it had found it’s way to a more suitable location or been rescued - it didn’t have any obvious signs of illness or injury but it seems odd it was there and alone.

Grateful for:
- Sunshine on my face as I walked
- Homemade soup by Andy for lunch
- Merlin wagging his tail so enthusiastically when he greeted me after work this evening
