Book Club

We discussed the Promise and took away MIdnight Library to read. 
The Promise is a window into the lives of the Whites in South Africa at the end of apartheid. Most of us enjoyed it or rather, were glad we had read it . I'm not sure it was a book to enjoy,  rather one to absorb and make you think.  The Midnight Library will be a lighter read. The cake offerings were as always, excellent.
