Made it again

Every year these two friends, and Gordon’s ex-colleagues, arrive on the train from Skipton and Gordon picks them up from Appleby. We have a lovely chat and lunch. I always mark the day with a photo, but today I forgot until the last minute - so this is a hasty, posed phone snap taken just as Gordon was about to return them to Appleby station. It is always great to see them.

What a lovely sunny day it has been. They had a good journey up, although the train was full - obviously a lot of people making the most of a sunny, dry day to do some walking in the Dales.
