Conference day 2: ideation

Today was day 1 of our ideation. We discussed multiple options and found some disagreements over the past ideas we had thought of. But thankfully, we were able to land an excellent idea that helps tackle people with mental health issues.

John and I spent some time trying to get the OpenAI to work, but sadly could not. So we all moved to developing the slides for the pitch.

Next, Andrea mentioned going for dinner at Indigo Yard but left early to drop his bag with other colleagues. At Indigo, we had lovely food and also did some pub quizzes alongside some other colleagues from Data Science and Innovation (thanks to Lucy for being the kindest host).

John agreed to go to Stramash after the meal, so I hopped along. I realised that it was twice that I felt out of place at Stramash; this time, I could not even engage with colleagues - probably because of the loud music and an awful lot of people. So, I didn’t dare to say hello to colleagues I would have usually interacted with.

I left for home at midnight. Walking in, I realised that the new flatmate had a girl staying over.
