Conference day 1: poster

Today was the first day at the Data Science conference. I arrived late because I forgot my presents for Murray and Craig so I had to return home to get them.

I attended the talks by an Amazon guy and our Data Science and Innovation head.

Next was the poster presentation, and I was presenting my innovative project

Whilst quite a few came to discuss my poster, I felt some walked by without talking or engaging, so looking back, I feel sad about it. I was also looking to win the poster prize this time, but alas, I didn’t, so I felt entirely gutted.

After the poster session, we had some talks and sessions with some folks. I immensely enjoyed some of them but thought I should have signed up for something different.

Midst the poster session, I got messages from the new flat that the bathroom and his room have had leaks from the floor upstairs. Poor Matt had to clean it by himself, so I was disappointed I was not there to assist him.

The landlord messaged, saying that unless the insurance is sorted, there would be no repair work.
