Blencathra

I had a dental checkup fairly early in the day.  On the way home I could see the first snow of the winter on Blencathra (Saddleback if you must).  Clickychick pointed out it was an ideal blip subject so into the car and a short way up the road.  An ideal spot a lay-by to park in and a field gate with a hard entrance so no muddy shoes.

If you look carefully you will see where a party has walked up from sharp edge (the s shaped ridge to the right).  A little close to the edge for my liking, fortunately there doesn't seem to be a cornice.
