Superman

Today has been shit.

My waterproofs weren't so waterproof.

I accidentally erased my entire hardrive.

A year ago today a good friend killed himself.

I'm not feeling so cheery.

In honour of my late friend Rob, I went to see Man of Steel, which eerily and fittingly opened yesterday. We always joked in Uni that he was Superman and our friend Rodolfo was Batman. They battled it out to prove who was the better superhero. To my knowledge they participated in these arguments up until the very last time they spoke, which was not too long before his death.
