Saturday: Ocean Liner Mysteries

A damp start to the weekend but it brightened up, chilly but a dry day.

Did some family history this morning, but made no progress :-((

Cooked a curry for tonight and found a recipe for pakoras cooked in the Airfryer - ingredients were actually my usual ones but recipe provided temperature and cooking time … I liked this method because a tiny amount of oil is used compared to the deep frying method … they take a bit longer because I can only fit 5 in at a time, maybe start an hour before we eat our meal?

Planted out a couple of dozen pickling onions in the deep bed where I had the bumper crop of leeks last year - this year’s leeks got eaten and the surviving ones still look like chives :-((

I’ve read many of Edward Marston’s books over the years, recently discovered these stories of an undercover detective working on what we’d call cruise ships - exciting stories with lots of twists and turns, great reading for the long winter nights … and days! :-))

Enjoy your weekend :-))

Love and hugs to all my family XXXX XXX XX

Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
