The Vintage Explosion

I was really looking forward to seeing this band. They are due to play Glasgow Royal Concert Hall in February but when I saw they were in Ayr Town Hall this evening I opted for the smaller, more intimate venue. Big mistake. Our seats were in the balcony and the sound was dreadful. Really distorted and difficult to hear individual instruments or vocals. It was such a pity as the band are obviously very talented and put on a great show. As we were leaving I did pop in briefly downstairs and it sounded much better. I might give them another try in Glasgow.
