Grey and windy
I was up early enough to see the sunrise this morning, which was glorious, and, as a result, was organised enough to do the shopping after breakfast while the washing machine was doing its work. We were meeting a friend for coffee at the Farmers’ Market, so I had to quickly hang the washing out after I got back from the supermarket before heading down to the Farmers’ Market in the car ‘cos we were running late. We had an enjoyable time chatting over coffee and listening to two singers (sisters), who sing songs I actually know and like. Afterwards we walked along to Mitre10 to get a pair of pliers for MrMacD. As we walked back along Thames Street the wind really revved up. Signs and pot plants were being blown over and chairs were being blown along the street. As soon as we arrived home I brought the washing in, which had dried nicely in the warm wind. We had lunch then I got stuck into some household chores, which was quite satisfying.
After cooking supper together, we had a quiet evening.
The main blip shows two views of the sunrise and two of the sunset. The extra shows a phaeton in the Victorian precinct with a sign advertising the Victorian Fete next Sunday.
