Self seeded ornamental gourds

It’s not been a good year for squash. The Moscato di Provence failed altogether and the Japanese green squash were desultory. So imagine my surprise when I realised the full extent of this Lungo di Napoli. It weighed in at a remarkable 16.4 kilos. (Extra) The challenge now is to eat it.
