Rememberance

They were amazing!!!

A long-ish journey down (including the predictable 'I need the loo' and even more predictable state of train toilets). Met up with such lovely old friends at St Paul's. The eldest loved the sense of occasion, youngest found it all a bit much, resorting to the ultimate get out of jail cars of 'I need the loo'!. So we tip toed from our spot right at the top in the South Transcept to the entrance and round to the crypt.

Picture taken after a hello to the waiting police horses whilst the service finished, and while we waited for our friends to emerge from the cathedral.

Up to bank for the laying of the wreaths. Youngest started the 'can we go home', we had a drink with friends and made our way to Kings Cross, lunch and a packed train home. Very glad we had reserved seats. They boys played a game all the way back and I fell asleep!!!

Both have said they would like to go again.
