Muddy Waters

We had a lot of rain overnight and it has turned quite blustery….courtesy of Storm Debi….

I did get out for a walk this morning, giving my new boots their first outing. I have been wearing them around the house for a while to ‘break them in’…and no problems found with them today.

I grabbed this shot of a drainage channel carrying the turbulent muddy run off from a field…

I reloaded the rat bait stations in our garden (again) …we have been visited by at least one terrestrial rat that is climbing the poles to the bird feeders….we also have flying rats (pigeons) and a tree rat (squirrel) again…pests……..
