Storm Clouds
I dropped Cato off at his favourite holiday home today (he has an outside terrace with a view of the ducks and alpacas). On the way home I stopped for the view across the river because I doubted there'd be another opportunity.
Our journey to Cumbria was tedious at best but as night fell and we got off the motorway we found a traffic queue and a blocked road (no idea what had happened) but we turned back and took the lanes. I was very grateful to the the land rover in front of us that enabled us to gauge the depth of the floods. Never mind we're here now.
We're here for a few days, meeting up with Marian's brother and sisters etc. They're arriving tomorrow. Storm Deborah wasn't invited but she's here just the same!
