They're back!

Every summer, a local farmer is allowed to bring her cows onto the heath that surrounds our house as part of the maintenance programme organised by the wonderful Surrey Wildlife Trust. in the past, we've had herds of Dexters, Norwegian Reds but I'm not sure what breed this gorgeous creature is. She clearly understands, although doesn't speak, English as I found myself saying 'Oh, you're back, I wondered if you were coming this year!' But then perhaps the look she's giving me says it all - someone warned us about her!!
