Indoor photography
Last night our Three-Of-Kind competition at camera club was judged by an ex-president of the Royal Photographic Society, and while he did offer some good advice he was extremely picky regarding the panelling, I think he thought he was assessing panels for RPS distinctions rather than for a camera club competition. He also did not filter some of his comments, and as our chairman said in his follow up email, there were 'unabridged comments' from our judge last night! Good thing he is not in politics as we know how that turns out.
Today has been awful weather. It started dry but as Xena left with P to go on a dog walk it started raining and did not stop. She came home soaked to the bone and enjoyed her warm water wash and being towel dried afterwards.
I have had a very lazy indoor day, got through all the ironing and did some other chores. I decided on indoor photography today, and luckily I had bought these lovely roses on the weekend so they were my subject today. I am itching to get out and do some decent landscape photography again, but this weather isn't very helpful or inspiring.
