Hanging in there...
It was a bit busy today, I had domestic chores to do - change bedding, laundry, ironing - and also went to get some groceries for the weekend as we leave early tomorrow morning to go to Norfolk. We have not been able to get there as frequently as we would have liked as we have been busy lately.
I went looking for insect repellent for our trip to Vietnam & Cambodia and then got drawn into clearing out the medicine cupboard, throwing out all the long out of date over the counter medicines and creams. I had antiseptic cream in there from 2018! Then I started on the bathroom cupboard and cleared out toiletries I don't use, so it was very productive.
Xena had two walks today, the first one this morning was in sunshine but the afternoon walk was gloomy - I really don't like these short days. It will look better when all the Christmas lights are switched on.
These leaves of my Japanese cherry blossom tree are still hanging on, but they won't last much longer and then the next time there is any colour on this tree will be when the blossoms appear in spring, which is a cheery thought.
