The Road Home

As we drove home this afternoon, over the pass above the lake at Talyllyn, this happened.   As I was driving, Jamie too some pictures.   After a mostly overcast day inland this was an unexpected delight. .... even if I really should clean the windscreen!

Earlier Jamie had a great time at Merioneth Special Riding Group this morning before we headed to Dolgellau where he had an appointment this afternoon.  Lunch beforehand, from the bakery in the main square was a real treat.  I had a Christmas Baton, chicken, stuffing and cranberry with five pigs in blankets and sliced cheese over, all grilled in their oven.  A king's feast!   While Jamie was busy I visited the recycling centre and offloaded a bootfull, a tick on the to-do list. 

We stopped on the way down the valley and gave the dogs a run at Rhydyronen, getting home as darkness fell.  A grand day out!
