Mer de Glace

Went up on the Montenvers train this morning to look at the mountains from a different angle. A gorgeous day with wall to wall sunshine, blue skies and lots of heat. Walked down to the touristy tunnels into the glacier for a wee look - and a cool down!

Now chilling on the balcony of the apartment reading, gazing at Mont Blanc and wishing the tennis would hurry up and start!

Lovely dinner at a friend's down in Passy last night. Nice dinner out in favourite restaurant planned tonight before heading tomorrow. Ooft.... Getting used to this chilled out life in the sun!
