Another Fine Day in Orkney

As the new weekly regime dictates, I delivered the Current Mrs Creel for her piano lesson, then I went and bought two sacks of hydrocarbons.  We then went to visit my mother.  Her latest update indicates that some of the care home residents are being taken to Leeds for four days after the New Year.  Also Prince William had been to visit and he had stood amazed and watched the Merry Dancers for three hours.  If only my Mum had contacted Reuters.  On the way back to Creel HQ we called in past to see Peter.  He is an office bearer of the Whisky Club and he’s off the beat at the moment.  He’s had a real health scare, nothing to do with the drink, but his GP has told him keep off the drink meantime.  Also present was another whisky aficionado but he also has been warned off the drink meantime.  We gave Peter a pack of well-fired rolls and departed.  For, being a Thursday, it was time for CMC to take me home whilst she went through to Stromness for her shift in the Cat Shop.  It seemed only natural to ease the tank master and start the mower.  Then, after recent frosts, to move the Osteospermums to the inside of the polytunnel.

Pisces:  If you’re in the Tees Marshalling Yards tonight conditions will be fine for a good shunt.  Expect to receive a letter from Anita.
