Flashing past

Took the hound for an early morning walk.  It's been a long day of travelling.  Glorious sunshine as we drove through various counties northeast-wards.  

My only blip is the Angel of the North from the A1.  It's my nearly-there signal. 

Our cottage is called Ziggy's Retreat and is very comfortable and quiet.  As it was pitch dark when we arrived we couldn't see the sea.  Looking forward to a beach walk tomorrow.

Discovered too late that I'd forgotten the dog's bowls.  So a visit to the two pet shops to purchase a couple.  Have made do so far with a plastic container for his meals and a biscuit tin for water. 

Will now take hound out for the last time today before heading bedwards.
