School run dramas

So my car decided to die on the M62 this afternoon which threw plans to collect the girls from school into disarray! Husband was speedily dispatched on that mission.

Colin, lovely AA man no.1, first traumatised me by making me steer the car whilst he towed me off the motorway, not an experience I’m keen to repeat ever!! He then tried to fix the car, failed and so it was decided we would bring the car home to be fixed. This involved AA man no.2 who was decidedly less chatty than Colin, so the last 90 minutes of the journey was spent in complete silence. Eight hours later, I’m pleased to be home, where the girls were waiting for me with pizza!
