Chedworth Manor

The Roman mosaics at Chedworth Manor are utterly beautiful. The National Trust have restored as much as possible and constructed an ingenious viewing gallery which suspends you over the top of the floor so that you can see them in all their glorious detail.

The manor is in the beautiful Coln valley near Cirencester and has the most wonderful wild flowers, wildlife and some rare Roman snails which live there very happily.
