This photo belies the excitement that was part of Katie's day- today she moved into the big girls ballet class. This involved a brief stress from her but then huge pride in herself. She started the morning doing the little ones class but teacher took the decision to bring forward her move up. She's very ready for it. The wobble came as this is a no Mummies class;, where in her class, we sit around the outside. Shes come away already having made a new friend and I did see her grinning away during tap. This class is half an hour longer plus she's soon going to start a second class so is very chuffed she's getting to do lots more dancing!

After ballet we came back on the train, cycled home and she spent a very happy afternoon with little friend lily. They apparently played beautifully together. I managed to get home an hour early so we got to have tea together. We had a bit of a bedtime water fight, which she found utterly hilarious, before she curled up in my arms in her bed and went to sleep.
