Busy Day!

One thing after another today, but I did get a good long walk in this morning. I walked past my old garden and was pleased to see this perennial Verbena in bloom - isn't she a beauty, especially for November!

My son and grandkids came by for lunch and we played games, always fun. I spent the rest of the afternoon at my neighbor's watching college football. He always puts ribs on his smoker and the rest of us bring various food - it's always great fun to see my friends, and I'm even learning a bit about football :-) 

Now it's started raining, and I'm certainly not hungry so I don't even need to cook dinner tonight.
