Change of plan

Becky called in this morning after seeing to her friends dog while they are away on holiday.She had given them a lift to Liverpool Airport at 2am this morning.We had a coffee with her then headed up to Ems to finish a job off.
Travelled up the M6 in dreadful weather in the little bus we have bought to replace the pickup.It is a good car but the BMW has that feeling of solidness about it and perhaps in such conditions we should have taken it instead.
Egg and bacon butties with Em before heading home.We thought we would travel home through the Trough of Bowland but turned around due to the thick fog and flooded roads. Miserable drive down the M6 but surprisingly most people where driving to the conditions. Only one Range Rover hurtling down the outside lane well over the speed limit with no lights on.At first I thought what an idiot then realising the vehicle was over six months old and realised that the lights had probably stopped working and he was lucky that it was running at all.

I haven't liked driving for many years now and admit that I find it tiring and a bit of a strain.
