Helen picked the last of our own tomatoes and one strawberry for this year They have been delicious.She has tidied out the little greenhouse this morning.

The final meeting at the hospital this morning before her op later this week.The pre-op last week went well but this morning after over eighteen months they have decided that the procedure would not be right for her and the operation has been cancelled.There will be a further 3-6 month wait.If they only knew what they were doing.We are now looking at going private.

The NHS never fails to disappoint.

A busy day on the nursery.Senetti have arrived in for potting up and the new motor and gearbox for the screens has arrived.We have also started cleaning out the washing tunnel which we have both been putting off for a long time.

Some rain this morning but a mainly dry day.A few sunny spells and mild.
