Lively

16yo and I braved the rain to head up to Ilkley for our Sunday outing.

We tried La Stazione café for the first time. The fact that it always seems rammed is a probably good sign, but also previously for us a reason to walk on in search of somewhere quieter. I enjoyed their vegan panini, mainly because it was vegetable based. There is a bit of an obsession with meat substitutes as the only plant-based options in cafés now, a lot of which are really unappealing to me, so it was nice to have something more authentic. 

We had an umbrella assisted walk down the river to the Old Bridge where the Wharfe was quite lively. Then just a potter around the shops and a further café stop before returning home.
