Landmarks

An oft-shared Airedale view from me, but the late autumn colours combined with a bit of sunshine made it an attractive scene. Key landmarks are: Tong Park Viaduct;  Tong Park industrial estate (chimneys); Esholt sewage works in the valley bottom; Rawdon Billing on the skyline.

Later, I was back up to Ilkley to see performance poet John Cooper Clarke, ably supported by another Mancunian poet Mike Garry. It was an entertaining evening. At it almost has me fired up to get back into my poetry.
