A trip to the store
for groceries cannot be 
avoided this week.

We set no speed records this morning. We slept in until almost 8:30. When we finally drained the coffee pot, we headed off to the grocery store with a rather long list. 

We are in the leadup to the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday. It was no surprise that the store was busy this morning and I'm sure it will only get more frantic as the week progresses. 

This is a particularly large grocery store so having the two of us to search and find everything was very handy. We were grateful to be done and we lined up at the cash register. I never choose the self-service tills as I want people to have jobs. There is quite a debate about this new trend in shopping. 

We were home with the groceries before noon. I was so happy to get off these miserable feet! 

An afternoon nap seems like a likely prospect.
