Blooming again

All the mums have had dead blooms for a few weeks and no care from me while Brett was ill. So yesterday I was going to trim off the dead and plant the six pots in the flower bed. Plus it was going to rain which would be a good start for them.

When I looked close they were reblooming. The yellow had new blooms and buds but this reddish one was looking great. So I trimmed them up and have them on the steps of the porch so they can get rained on.

I am moving them inside after the rain to enjoy the color. I will put them on the fireplace hearth since we don’t need a fire any time soon.

I love it when plants surprise me!
