From the bridge, at Corbridge

I had a lovely day out with two friends today, "Ladies who Lunch". About every six weeks we escape together for the day to enjoy each other's company. 
We visited Corbridge with a stop off at Brocksbushes Farm shop, for a perusal of the delicious goods on offer and a coffee in the shop. 
We were lucky the weather was kind to us and we walked around the little town, took delight in more inviting shops, really enjoying being out and about. We stopped for a super lunch in a café we hadn't tried before. The day went quickly and we were soon walking back to the car which was parked across the bridge. As we walked across the river looked beautiful with the sun dipping down and the blue sky was a treat, a photo opportunity not to be missed.
