Preparation

Clothes laid out on my bed to be sure I'll have what I need for my trip away. I have a list of anything else that is not already packed for the off, but will be required. I'll be away for 11 days but am travelling on the train so have tried to minimise what I take. I'm not good at that!! I'm not going until Sunday but I will be at the village hall the whole day on Saturday. In the morning the usual bacon butties and teas. The local MP is coming in to chat with the locals and answer questions? Surrounded by farms he may have an interesting morning! Angela, the pie lady will also be there, with her wonderful homemade pies and sweet treats. We're expecting it to be busy. The afternoon is the church Christmas Fayre and Kath and I are on tea duty for that. It will probably be quite late afternoon before I get home; I will be ready for a sit down and feet up, although I will do my last minute checklist so I can have a relaxed start on Sunday morning.
