Union Canal

Raining first thing, so a leisurely breakfast, then some photo editing. After morning coffee, I head out for a wee daunder. A bit dull, plus some ever so light drizzle.

It seems to be brightening up after lunch, and the forecast looks ok, so an afternoon walk along the Union canal from Craiglockhart in to town. Not being much wind, there were some lovely reflections. There were a few rowing skulls and moving canal boats out on the water, so I had to walk a bit past them to get a view of the canal. The view is of Polwarth Kirk just as a boat came around the corner. Further on down the canal, I spotted a pair of Goosanders. Extra is the best shot of one of them. The light was fading at this time, and it was starting to rain, so partner and I went off in search of coffee and a bite to eat.
