The Birch Wood

A nice pink sky in the morning, but had to concentrate on breakfast and work.

A walk around the park and a bit of Caiystane at lunch time. Photo of trees in the birch wood, showing very few leaves on the tree. Most of the loose leaves on the path have been blown away, leaving only the brown mushy ones left.  Views across to Fife from Caiystane were slightly misty.

After work partner and I walk down to Braidburn Valley Park. However we spent about 15 minutes chatting to a neighbour. So it was very dark twilight when we got there, so too dark for photos. We came across a dog running up and down the path, and a walker calling to it on the other side of the burn. The dog was disorientated, and didn't know where the owner was, and obviously didn't fancy running through the cold water. So we manage to get the owner to walk to one of the footbridges and call to the dog from there. On the way home, it was very dark, so we opted to a road route home rather than go through the local park.
