Birthday girl
2-2-1-1 That's the way to remember G's birthday!
So, the day finally arrived. The birthday banner went up in the flat last night, but I must not have secured it very well, as it was on the floor in the morning! Thankfully, Wednesdays are G's shortest day, so it's not too taxing.
I had a good day in the office, getting to chat with a new colleague who didn't fit the profile of the rest of the team. Today, I discovered he is a non-conventional local! Very cool. I then made a quick visit to our Intermobility exhibition. Walking around, you can see how specialist it is. It wasn't heaving with visitors. I couldn't believe it when I came across a RoSPA stand! I'd never heard of it. I enjoyed chatting with Gary and finding out about what they do.
I worked from home for the rest of the day until it was time to take G out for her birthday meal. It is the SA meeting in the evening, so dinner was out of the question. Biella came up trumps again with their food. We moved on to Icons for a coffee and then went to Church.
We had a small gathering again, but that's fine. It was sweet how happy they were to celebrate G's birthday with her. She gave them cupcakes. I think she's had a good day.
