Summer Rain

"Just look at that rain", sighed Wedge 1 as she looked out the window in dismay. "Can you believe it's pouring down yet again"!.

"I know", replied Wedge 2. "It's nearing the end of June and the only time we've been out our shoebox this year is to peer out the window. Haven't even been near our owners feet yet never mind outside in any sunshine"!

What on earth has happened to this glorious summer we were promised this year? Please don't tell me that wonderful, hot week we had a few weeks back was "it"!
