Having Fun

The weather was drizzly and gray again today. I made country sausage for breakfast. When Parker got up, he decided to make an egg, added cheese and fried his bread for a tasty sandwich. The guys found a short time with clear skies and rode their ATVs around the ridges. My sister helped me wrap most of my stocking stuffers. Glad to have that much behind us. Parker and some of the other grands love jerky. Our BIL bought all the ingredients and taught Parker how to make a healthier version than what you buy. My sister and BIL are Parker’s Godparents; they like to share life lessons with the boy. And he really had fun making up different seasoning blends and different shapes. This may become a tradition. Hubby did some maintenance on his ATV, put new strings on his guitar and mandolin and practiced a bit. We all pitched in making an Italian sausage, cabbage and baked potato dinner.
