Bookworm

We slept in a bit today. There were song birds of almost every local variety at the feeders enjoying their breakfast as we had ours. We needed a few things in town so we piled in our BIL’s truck and headed out. We were disappointed that the first stop was closed. This sculpture was at the New Martinsville library. Reading to and with the grands has always been a priority so I could not resist sharing it with you. After a delicious buffet lunch at Quinet’s, we took a scenic route home. There will be no need for dinner. Sugar and I snuggled on the couch and read while the others busied themselves. Day one at the farm has been quite enjoyable. Wishing you a pleasant week.
