Construction Stairs!
This the highest portion of a building under construction in Hartford, Connecticut, less than an hour south of us. Edit (emailed from a friend): It's the Travelers Tower, where peregrine falcons next (though not now during construction).
It's across the street from the Wadworth Atheneum, the "first public art institution" in the U.S., founded in 1942. It's a wonderful medium-sized museum, where we met my youngest son Adrian. He gave me a Father's Day card which made me blush with its tribute to me.
We saw an exhibition on Caravaggio and his followers for the second time--the first was a month ago when Adrian's partner Heather had just graduated from her master's program.
